BOOSTER – Boost Of Organic Solar Technology for European Radiance

The project is focused on the deployment of organic photovoltaic (OPV) technology to the building applied photovoltaic market. Manufacturing OPV modules via printing techniques features a low energy-payback-time and uses resources that are abundant, easily accessible and non-toxic. Designed efficient multi-layer OPV architecture will reach efficiency of up to 15 % and advanced multifunctional barrier films will be manufactured to increase the lifetime to 35 years.


DoT4BADevelopment of technology of organic electrochemical and electrolyte-gated transistors for bioelectronics applications

The project consists of development and synthesis of novel advanced organic materials, design and fabrication of optimized organic transistor for sensing applications, the development of sensor array, and the design and development of the prototype/demonstrator. The originality of this project dwells in the novel organic materials, advanced device design of organic electrochemical devices, and design of an electronic control system.


OrgSenseResearch and development of advanced organic materials and structures for gas sensor fabricated by the inkjet technology

This project is focused on the development and synthesis of novel advanced organic materials, design and fabrication of organic transistor for gas sensing, the development of the integrated gas sensor with an organic transistor and temperature sensor, and the design and development of the complex sensor system. The originality of this project dwells in the novel organic materials, advanced device design with integrated devices, and design of an electronic system for organic sensors.

The proposed project dealed with preparation of novel nitrogen containing OLED materials (organic light-emitting diode). Materials based on carbolines, azafluorenones and alkynes structures. Project goal was their use in applications like digital displays in devices like television screens, computer monitors, portable systems such as mobile phones, hanheld game consoles, tablets, in solid-state lighting applications, in area of photovoltaics and in many others.


T2FOREL Theory and Technology of Interfaces for Fast Organic Electronics

The aim of the project was development of device suitable for deposition of molecular or nanoparticle monolayers from liquid surface by roll-to-roll technique. Device is an option setup and it is compatible with commercially available devices (Langmuir-Blodgett troughs) and it is suitable for industrial applications in photonics.
